As a result of Elburn Cooperative’s expanded partnership with Pioneer Hi-Bred, you will see Pioneer seed and products only at Sycamore, Maple Park, and Newark. These Pioneer products will be of equal or better value to your farming operation, and you will have plenty of options from which to choose.

Sycamore and Meredith Road Distribution Centers

Throughout our northern market area, Elburn Cooperative is well-positioned to serve our long-time seed customers as well as customers who have purchased only agronomy products and now wish to purchase Pioneer Brand Seed. Our Sycamore and Meredith Road facilities have always offered a full line of Pioneer Hi-Bred products.

During the 2008 season, our Meredith Road site in Maple Park will have the same Pioneer Hi-Bred offerings as Sycamore. Joe Rich will manage the seed distribution at the Sycamore Agronomy Center working along with Ron Alms at the Meredith Road facility staged up as a spring pickup center.

Newark Seed

Elburn Cooperative has partnered with a respected Pioneer Seed Representative, Steve Scalf of Newark, IL, to form a new seed distribution center within Elburn Cooperative. Seedpros, based at Scalf’s modern distribution facility southeast of Newark on Rt. 52, is well-positioned to serve Elburn Cooperative’s southern market area, as well as the strong customer base of Newark Grain, recently acquired by Elburn Cooperative.

Steve Scalf’s long-time customers will have greater access to agronomy resources. Seedpros will offer more planning and research tools to help you select the right seed corn, soybean, or wheat variety for your individual fields. In addition, you’ll benefit from other “experts” who can help with your soil testing, fertility positioning, and herbicide selection.
