01/12/12 USDA Supply and Demand Report
As of January 12, 2012, corn stocks are pegged at 1.128mbu. Imports are steady at 15mbu. Corn ending stocks for 2012 is tight at 846mbu. The last time ending stocks were anywhere close to that was in 2004 at 954mbu. (96/97 was 883mbu.). Exports and feed continue to rise, but not as drastically as domestic industrial use. Industrial use pegged at 6.405mbu.
